Here is the translated version:
* Epic wants to integrate a kind UT-TV for spectators in UT2007
* Results are to be able to be viewed online via the stats system in real time
* There will be medals or awards
* Players are to be able to change the appearance of their characters (online)
* The dodge jump will be removed (ARRRRRGH),
but the double jump and the normal dodging will remain. |
Thanks for translating Sascha!

Maybe someone will write a mutator that puts this back into the game....I hope! |
I bet this will be one of the first custom
mutators for UT2007...

I don't think that very many people will be able to run the unreal 3 engine well. I just tried the Robohordes game on my dads new work PC. It has 4GB Ram, a 3GHz Pentium D processor (dual core) and a X600 (256MB) but it still couldn't get over 1 or 2 fps on 800x600!!
I'm worried that UT2007 may be too demanding for even the very best PC sytems. If it is to work it will have to be very optimised!!

I guess that robo hordes demo is not very
well optimized. I only can play it at a screen
resolution of about 640x480. Let's wait what
they come up with...

I honestly don't think that they would release a game that the majority of people cannot play due to their pc's not being up to NASA standards. It doesnt make good business sense.......I think it will work on most peoples pc's but to get it running looking awesome you WILL have to have a powerfull machine...but that said....the likes of me and my pc WILL run it, just not looking as good as we would like it to!!!

yehoow.. me and you can play each other then when all others left!
i fear that it's gonna be the same now as with '03 when '04 came, that everyone will start playing the new version and the old one will die.... But since '03 only was a halfmade version of '04, and this one is still very popular, it might not happen! I hope!

The latest on minimum specs to play the game,
Thilo Bayer, Editor-in-Chief PCG Hardware, adds:
As I clarified in a seperate e-mail with Mark Rein, we have some misunderstanding in the term "minimum specs". We mean "minimum specs for high in game detail" which is not the same as bare "minimum specs" so that the game runs at all.
and 2007 has been put back now, at least until MARCH 2007.
