got my first parts of my new pc ^^ yeh ... end of this year ... but most of u know i have some problems with my system like lags which don't come from my inet and it's so f***in annoyin. Got a new gc and and new mobo today ^^ My new gc is a Powercolour X1900XTX with 512MB ram and the mobo is a Asus A8R-32 MVP Delux ^^ Will post some pics soon ^^ Wink

got my new mobo today Very Happy but took me 4 hours to get it runnin Evil or Very Mad Damn RAM ^^ and damn manual ^^. Ok here r a few pics when i was buildin my new pc ^^

Things to try to get UT to work:

1. Make sure you have the latest patch
2. In Settings make sure that "Preload all player skins" is selected
3. Kick your PC a bit Twisted Evil
4. Make sure that you have not set the audio to something that your sound card cannot do
5. Kick the PC some more Twisted Evil
6. Ask Bjoern Razz

Hope this helps a bit but I'm sure that you have already tried most of these things Smile

Sounds to me like the problem I got for many month now. My ut2004.log file is getting spammed by UT/AntiTCC/UTComp. After 10 matches its up to 6 MB in size and growing... even a new clean install of UT didn't stop it Confused So just look if you have Harddisk-Access while playing. Could be a cause of short lags.

Another problem might be IRQ conflict. But that shouldn't happen with modern mainboards Confused

Last thing which comes to my mind: Ethernet driver problems. Marvell had some "strange" drivers out there. If thats your Mainboard chip, try very old and then the newest driver.
