HELP!! anyone, please!
Right, i have big problems with UT, any help would be great
It all started a few months ago, when my translocator would come in on its own, when i pressed fire, but now, if i have my server running, although i have translocator enabled, i cant select it? the other anoying thing is (this started last 2 days ago) my name changes from XIR.[L7] to XIR.[l7] i have deleated my name in the server, and reinstalled it, but this keeps happening, even if i leave the game with my normal nick, when i come back, it changes again?
PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE.
Clive.
P/S. i almost forgot, my map editor doesent work either.

Have you tried a fresh isnatll of UT2004?
If there's space left on your hard drive it
would be possible to have an additional
install for testing purposes.
C:\UT2004_Testing\
...for instance.

It is possible. Insert your original install disc.
Start the installer. In the screen right after
entering your cd key you're able to set up
the installation path.
So just alter C:\UT2004 to
C:\UT2004TEST or something like that.

Thx Björn,
I installed the second UT, tried it for a N8, every thing was working fine.
So last N8, i took both the UT,s off the hardrive, making sure i left all my maps on
reinstalled just the one UT, and everything seems to working ok now.
Thx again M8.

I'm glad to hear your problems are solved, Clive!
And I'm also thinking of doing a fresh install, cause UT is blowing up my ut2004.log file with spam crap...
