Botter????

OK......I know I hate to b accused of cheating...in fact its one of the things that p!$$es me off the most.....that along with ppl that actually do cheat!!!

So the reason for this post is that last night we had some1 who we were all (me, Cal.68, Hypnotoad, Sticky and some others) 99% sure was botting, his name was U4V|onizuka[kdf......ok take a look at this match ... http://www.xanton.net/serverstats/matchstats.php?match=7654 ....and u tell me that this guy wasnt cheating.....he joined the game (the Ring map) over 3 mins later than every1 else.....he got 2 holy shit kills then stopped for a little while to let others get their scores up then started again and won.....every1 new he was cheating and I'm sorry but I just havent got time for cheaters!!! Whats the point...the game must so boring to play...I mean how hard is it to just press the mouse button....totally misses the point and skill of Unreal Tournament. And that wasnt the only match he played...he came in now and again on a few other maps during the night!!!

I just wanted to bring this to ur attention Bjorn and IF (and I SERIOUSLY SEREIOUSLY DOUBT IT) he isnt a botter....then I am very appologetic coz I know it sucks to be accused of cheating...but this guy has got no stats on him at all....he has changed his name...just makes me belive even more that he does in fact cheat.

Sorry to have to post this but CHEATERS deserve to burn in the fires of hell.

Thanks for posting this Andy and thanks for the banning Bjoern. He ruined my stats (not that they are any good at the mo seeing as i get 5 frames per second ) and he ruined your stats Andy . I hope he likes his ban

WOW....thanks for the superfast response Bjorn.....hehe was good to actually c the botter in action......he was getting kills so fast the game couldnt keep up with announcing them..LMAO

botters....... god i say if u cant play the game dont play it...

i played this guy in the day time...

and i also said he was a botter... i called him it on the server.....

i said botter
he said no

but on map before i was wining he came in
and with in 1 minute or so he had won...

then on xantons map he was like zap ... zap... zap .... miss a few
but win in 1 minute he had 12 kills.......

so i knew it... and also i think other ppl are using this bot....
if it gets through anti tcc...... your mind does wonder.....
and i dont mean ANYONE off our server... so dont get paranoid..
this is the 1st bot i have seen there.... i knew it was one straight away.

i even told thomas about it on msn yesterday lol.....
he checked the scores... on our stats site....

although i did play him 1v1 on the shire i kept up with him
but he was prolly letting me as i called him a botter...
he said he liked to use zoom....
but isnt that a standard excuse for botters anyway... lol

The easiest way to see if someone is realy cheating is to spectate him from behindview 0
That way you can see if his cursor is moving fast from one to the next target and it is prety much obvious to see it.
I have few demorecs of botters myself that I took, but from 2k3.

Hey Renato.....in 2k4 all u have to do to see the behindview 0 or 1 is just press F4...it switches from one to the other at the press of a button

And Bjorn sent me the demo (this is the first demo I have ever seen...hehe ok ok I'm a demorec NEWB ) and I didn't realise u could switch from player to player so the first time i watched it I was watching through my character only and through my cross hair....it wasn't till the second time i watched it I realised I could switch through all the players and through both views...hehe....DOH!!!

But when I did spec that BOTTER it was SOOOOOOO obvious he was cheating....not sure if all the bots work the same but if they do then it should be fairly easy to tell straight away if some1 is cheating!!!

Exactly Andy,

as this is a serverside demo recording you
can switch between players also watching
from 1st person view - and that makes it
pretty obvious then when watching...

I guess it is important you all know how it

Hope it's ok for the other players who are in
this demo. BTW - I love the middle part where
he fell into that hole...

..doesn't look like he waited just for making it not
too obvious. Looked like his movement sucked...

Ah yes and there's also other types of aimbots
one for example let you aim for yourself but
shoots automatically if the crosshair is right on
the target...
