Hi everyone  
I was asked if I want to "open" a new thread and write something about China and so...here I am 
Peking or "Beijing" is really full of people (it's impossible to take a photo without some heads on it XD) , rush hour seems to be 24 hours a day,the smog here is unbelivable  and it's really hot.
I'm not the best photographer (and don't really know how to handel my digi cam ...  ) but it's really difficult to take some good photos because everything goes under in this smog here.
Many things are very cheap (comparing to Germany) CDs 2-3 Euro and DVDs 1,5-3 Euro ... XD but elecrical things like televisions have nearly the same price like in Germany.
Crossing the street is very funny...you only have to go on the street and make some sighns with your hand...than the cars (maybe^^)stop.
I'll try to add some pics...even if they aren't really good...  (haven't take the instruction sheet with me...-.-)
And ... they really eat dogs in China... and other really strange things like little scorpions (nontoxic) and roasted birds emryos  sry...

I really always want to know what is on my plate...but my chinese isn't good enough at all...XD I'm always afraid of eating something^^

Beihai Park looks beautiful... shame about the smog! You'll have to get one of those masks lol, well i would anyway, i'd be scared to breathe! I can't believe those scorpions were alive...
Are you there for any particular reason? or just an extra long holiday?

Yes...the smog...today I've spend a veeeeeeeeery long time outside...think that my lungs are dead now...^^
And yes...it's unbelivable
I'm visiting China with my chinese class (I try to learn this language for nearly two years now...XD ) It's really difficult ... and I can't understand the chinese people with their "miaw miaw"
I'm going to spend three weeks in Beijing (I'm living in the university and have classes here too...nice subjects like chinese writing and speaking ... and: Tai Chi and singing )
The last three weeks I'm going to spend anywhere in China...we can travel in little groups where we want...don't know how we will survive this with our chinese^^
