Basically found some info, maybe new to you!
What is said in this link basically, they are waiting on to see if this game that has already intergrated xbox360 and PC users to be allowed to play in same servers together. IF that does well then Epic will consider to interchange xbox and pc users togetehr in online experience.

Goes in deeper detail for you. Might be quite old, i think the game is called shadowrun or soemthing similar, of them waiting to see how succesful that is.
Epic says that its not a problem to have the two platforms play together, but they think that it may be a slight disadvantage to the xbox as they use a controller compared to our mice n keyboard. (whats stopping them buying mouse and keyboard anyhow?)
