Ohhh nice pics Cath 
I was in Athen/Pireus ( ? ) (the port of Athen) in 2004 while I was on a cruise on the Mediterranean...
Some other stops were Heraklion (on Kreta) and Zakinthos (a small island)...
I like Greece so ur photos remind me to the time I was in Greece

Nice pictures Julia
I like Greece too. I went there many times when I was younger. I have been to Athens, Samos, Ikaria (and prob somewhere else where I was too young to remember). The place we used to go had totally undisturbed beaches and very few tourists. However, it has all since changed and now the beaches are covered with umbrellas.

yeh nice pics i absolutely love greece, i was on the island Corfu 2 years ago.. wow, the beaches, the food, and the people living a little outside the tourist places where adorable, inviting u into their homes even though they didnt know a word in english...
cath you wrote that you were inspired by a book you read, there is an amazing book called Eleni written by Nicholas Gage (not Cage hehe ), this Nicholas is seeking answers to what happened to his mother during the internal war in greece during ww2. it's breathtaking, you should read it!

I've been there two times (years ago)  But only on islands (Crete and Rhodes ) Crete was very nice. Especially because of a (in my opinion) really beautyfull lake on the island .... "Lake Kournas" In the water I had a nice meeting with two turtles xD

the last picture is one of the 18th birthday of my boyfriend (it was really funny.. und sehr feuchtfröhlich xD) naja.. he's the 3rd one from left (sorry mein englisch is was eingerostet ^^)
