OK, finally I made a little online portfolio containing
my Scotland images. LOL, took me 2 years to do this...
I've been to Scotland in 2003 and really liked it there.
First time I've been to UK for a longer time.
If you're interested, here are the photos:

The one of the hawk (if it is a hawk..not so good on birds...well the flying type any way ) in mid flight is AWESOME....u really captured that perfectly....a very hard thing to do!!

Uhm yes I try to remember...
We spent the first week at the Scottish Borders.
We had an appartment near Selkirk and that's
really not far away from Newcastle...
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ll=55.560874,-2.778854&spn=.130961,.254402&hl=en
We made quite a few roundtrips there and also
visited Edinburgh.
The abandoned house right at the
beginning is Smailholm Tower
http://www.aboutbritain.com/SmailholmTower.htm
The castle where I also took a photo of
that cannon is Culzean Castle at the west coast:
http://www.aboutbritain.com/CulzeanCastle.htm
Not far away from Culzean Castle we found
that mini Stonehenge (well... actually there
are lots of mini Stonehenges there)
All of the urban pictures have been captured
in Edinburgh (also the toilet man...)
We visited the Whisky Center and bought
quite a few great Whiskies in tiny bottles
(so we made our private whisky tasting
in our appartment)
That waterfall is between Selkirk and
Moffat (still in the Scottish Borders):
http://www.aboutscotland.com/water/gmt.html
After one week we went north to visit the
higlands and found a good bed & breakfast
in Carrbridge: http://www.carrbridge.com/
(near Inverness)
Yer and we've seen many of highland cattle
(I luv these beasts...)
The castle which looks a little bit like captured
from a Disney movie is Dunrobin Castle.
we also met the falconer there (yer and it
seamed quite obvious that he really likes
his job)
http://www.highlandescape.com/dunrobin/
We made various roundtrips in the highlands
also to Eilean Donan Castle which had been
a location for the "Highlander" movie:
http://www.scotlandthemovie.com/movies/donanhigh.html
After that there some pictures of loch ness
and Glen Coe.
We left the Highlands and drove east. Of course we
visited a few whisky destilleries... We spent a few
near Aberdeen and visited our last castle...

Oh wow, thanks! Well it's a little part of my job...
...actually I'd like to spend more time taking photos...
But to be fair I have to say that scenery and stuff
is so beautiful there you simple have to point
the camera in a random direction. And Bingo you get
a good photo...
Uhm that bird of prey... I guess it's called
Black-Chested Bussard-Eagle... or so...
Yer bring em on (nz photos) I'm really
looking forward on them.
